Regularly playing and recording with various SF Bay-area ensembles and is also a part of San Francisco's vibrant Grateful Dead scene. He has played shows with founding members of The Grateful Dead (Phil Lesh & Bob Weir) and is a regular band member with Stu Allen & Mars Hotel.
Music has always been a positive influence on Jeremy and drumming has afforded him opportunities to play music around the world, including Africa, Brazil, Thailand, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, Iraq, and almost every state in the US. This in-demand drummer has been passionately pursuing a wide variety of styles including funk, rock, reggae, jazz, blues, and Latin-Afro-Cuban since he was a teen. He graduated from San Francisco State with a degree in Music and Philosophy and furthered his education studying at the Drummer's Collective in New York.
After drumming with dozens of San Francisco-based bands for many years, he toured extensively with the Latin rock band deSoL(curb records), touring as the opening act for Los Lonely Boys, Widespread Panic, and the Wailers, playing throughout the US and a
USO Persian Gulf tour.
Some notable venues and festivals performed at include: Madison Square Garden, Austin City Limits, The Captitol Theater, The Latin Grammies, Reggae on The River, Monterey Reggae Festival, Nelson Jazz and Blues Festival (New Zealand), Day on the Green (NZ,) SXSW, Jerry Day San Francisco, Paris Film Festival. TV and Radio performances across the US, and featured in magazines such as Drum, GIG, and Billboard.
For a few years after that, Jeremy toured with bands throughout the South Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand where he had the wonderful and blessed opportunity to travel with Maori musicians playing at many indigenous events and concerts. He then returned to the Bay Area determined to put down roots and explore his own music & creativity. He continues to hone his writing and recording skills and evolve as a producer, collaborating with musicians internationally and locally. Recently co-produced and played drums on three Children's albums for "PapaHugs" and was Grammy nominated for “Best Children’s Album of the year” at the 54th Grammy Awards.
He also developed his own line of ceramic hand drums, and necklaces.
